LEWISTON – A man stabbed in the heart in a College Street fight Friday night remained in critical condition Sunday, according to police.
Sgt. Danny LaChance said Jeffrey McKenzie, 27, was showing signs of improvement.
Unable to make $5,000 bail, Miguel Antonio Martinez, charged with elevated aggravated assault in the stabbing, remained in Androscoggin County Jail Sunday night.
Martinez is expected to make an initial court appearance today.
