SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. – Edna Canham Priest, of South Windsor, Conn., formerly of Auburn, widow of Norman Priest, died Wednesday, May 24.

She was born in Auburn on July 2, 1914, the daughter of Percy and Evie Canham.

Mrs. Priest taught school for 18 years in Maine, and 14 years in Windsor Locks, Conn. She was a graduate of Farmington Normal School, Bates College and the University of Maine.

She was a member of Friends of the Library in South Windsor, the American Rock Garden Society, the American Rhododendron Society, the Connecticut Horticultural Society and the South Windsor Historical Society.

She is survived by four nephews and one niece, Robert Harmon of Virginia, Richard Diehl of Vermont, and Gerald Harmon, William Diehl and Ruth Harmon Leipold, all of Maine.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Diehl and Helen Harmon.
