OXFORD – Announcement is made of the engagement of Wanda Staples and Stephen A. Richard, both of Oxford.
Miss Staples is the daughter of Lewis H. Staples of Oxford and Eva M. Mills of Greenwood. She is a 1990 graduate of Old Orchard Beach High School and attended classes at the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C., studying paralegal and economics. She is currently employed at Community Concepts Inc. as a real estate development specialist, working in single and multi-family development.
Mr. Richard is the son of Albert and Constance Richard of Lewiston. He is a 1990 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and received a degree in electrical technology at Southern Maine Technical College. He is employed as housing specialist manager at Schiavi Home Builders, currently working in the Bethel office.
The wedding will be held on June 17 at All Souls Chapel at the Poland Spring Inn, with a reception to follow at the inn.
