PORTLAND (AP) – Brandon Moss drove in three runs with a double and a single to lead the Portland Sea Dogs past the New Britain Rock Cats 6-4 Sunday in the Eastern League.

Dusty Brown and Chad Spann also doubled for the Sea Dogs.

Scott Whitrock led New Britain with three RBIs.

Whitrock homered in the first inning with two men aboard to give the Rock Cats (22-24) a three-run lead. Danny Matienzos solo blast made it 4-0 in the top of fourth.

Moss two-run double was the big hit as the Sea Dogs (26-20) rallied for four runs and tied the game.

A Spann double and an Moss RBI single made the difference for Portland, who took the lead 6-4 in the sixth.
