SOUTH PARIS – The Floyd Harlow Post 9787, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Auxiliary held installation of officers on May 3.

Installed for the auxiliary were Donna Wing, president; Lillian Herrick, senior vice president; Marilyn Jones, junior vice president; Lula Meserve, chaplain; June Wing, secretary; Lori Macleod, treasurer; Eula Felker, guard; Kim Hanson, conductress; and Pat Foster, patriotic instructor.

Installing officer was Linda Bracket, department senior vice president, and Betty Houle, past department president, served as installing conductress.

Also honored was Lauri Riimaki, District 9 third-place Patriots Pen essay contest winner. The Patriots Pen contest is sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and is open to all middle school students.

The next meeting of the Floyd Harlow Post and Auxiliary 9787 will be held on June 7. Supper will be served at 6 p.m. with meetings to follow. All military personnel and their spouses are welcome.
