LEWISTON – André G. Duchette has been hired by the law firm of Gosselin, Dubord & Bell.

He is a 2005 graduate of Maine School of Law in Portland and was sworn in as a Maine attorney at the Androscoggin County Superior Court on Oct. 26, 2005. He joins the firm full time after clerking with the firm during law school.

Born in Lewiston and growing up in Wales, Duchette graduated from Oak Hill High School and received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College. As a psychology major, he worked with Ingraham in Portland as a crisis support worker prior to attending law school.

During law school, Duchette was president of the Student Bar Association and worked for the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, providing free legal representation to indigent individuals in need.
