AUBURN – The 1936 Class Reunion Committee met at Clover Manor on May 18 in preparation of the 70-year reunion of the Edward Little High School class. Plans were made to hold a luncheon reunion at Rolandeau’s Restaurant, Washington Street, on Saturday, July 15.

The committee is comprised of Jane Seavey Emerson, Regina LaRose Lawler, Ruth Sylvester Benjamin, chairwoman, Marilynn Brown Ames, honorary chairwoman, Martine Martin Begert, Carlton Snowe, James Bouchles, Sally Robinson Eveleth and Helen Andrews Fehlau.

Serving on subcommittees are: Jane Emerson, table decorations; Carlton Snowe, transportation; Regina Lawler, typing assistant; Sally Robinson, registration; and Jim Bouchles, master of ceremonies.

Members of the Class of 1936 have the distinction of being the first graduates of Edward Little High School to wear caps and gowns. In recognition of this legacy, the committee is seeking informal photographs of classmates wearing caps and gowns and photos and movies, if available, of the graduation exercises held June 17, 1936, at the Auburn Theater.
