Ed Desgrosseilliers will be a caring and effective state senator from District 15. For several years, I have witnessed his strong, intelligent leadership in many settings. When needed, he takes charge. He is fair, and a truly excellent listener.

He is a 22-year veteran of the Marines and Navy, past president of Local 345 branch of the National Association of Letter Carriers, and chairs the Auburn Democratic Committee and caucus. A guiding voice on Auburn’s Charter Committee, he also has been an assertive and moderating voice for distressed property taxpayers. He values education as the cornerstone of Maine’s future, drawing high-paying businesses to Maine, and motivating our own youth to remain in Maine, or to return.

For decades, Ed has continuously served Maine’s citizens, often while holding down two jobs. He is a strong and caring leader who will provide District 15 with an effective voice.
