AUBURN – Court Street Baptist Church honored the Rev. Dr. Foster and Mary Jane Williams on May 7 for their interim pastoral leadership for the past 26 months.

Their accomplishments included the Chrismon Tree, Heart to Heart, the Living Last Supper and the Gathering on Wednesday evenings. The programs generated substantial church growth and involvement in church activities.

A partial list of thank-you gifts included a full-size wishing well for their home and an all-expense-paid round trip to France. More than 200 church folks attended the smothered beef dinner in their honor.
