AUBURN – The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society has announced the winners of the “I am NOT a DOG!” photo contest. The contest, held in conjunction with the Strutt Your Mutt Dog Walk and Pet Festival on May 20, was to honor the many other types of furry, feathered and scaly friends who share our lives.

Photos were judged in four categories. Pat Daignault of Auburn was the winner in the best all-around category.

In the biggest ham category winners were: first, Jeff Lagasse of Lewiston; second, Brianna Tilton of Leeds; third, Yolande Roy of Auburn; funniest, first, Kay Keene of Lewiston; second, Roland and Bonnie Chabot of Auburn; third, Elizabeth Smith of Auburn; cutest, first, Cher Parmenter of Greene; second, Bev Fortier of Auburn; third, Debbie Sawyer of Greene.
