LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court:

Gary E. Thurlow, 55, Poland, burning without a permit and burning prohibited material on March 15, found guilty on both charges, fined $50 on first charge; fined $150 on second charge.

Thomas L. Timberlake, 43, Canton, operating under the influence on Dec. 25, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to four days and license suspended 90 days.

Brian K. Trafford, 18, Leeds, operating an unregistered snowmobile on Feb. 25, fined $100 by default.

Tammy S. Truman, 42, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on Jan. 28, found guilty, fined $100.

Brittany L. Tucker, 19, Brunswick, two counts of allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor on Sept. 1, 2004, found guilty on first charge, fined $100; second charge dismissed.

Vincent W. Turner, 35, Auburn, assault and obstructing the report of a crime on April 2, found guilty on both charges, fined $300 and sentenced to 30 days on first charge; sentenced to 30 days on second charge.

Irving M. Veliente, 56, Mechanic Falls, criminal speed on Feb. 11, dismissed.

Albertito C. Velez, 32, Lewiston, obstructing the report of a crime, assault, and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on April 22, found guilty on first and second charges, sentenced to three days on first charge; fined $300 and sentenced to three days on second charge; third charge dismissed.

Deborah Vermette, 24, Greene, assault on Dec. 25, dismissed.

Mikel David Verrill, 23, Lisbon Falls, operating while license suspended or revoked on Feb. 14, found guilty, fined $250.

Thomas Violette, 27, Lewiston, possession of marijuana on Feb. 16, offense committed, fined $350.

Douglas E. Wade, 39, Livermore Falls, violating condition of release and operating while license suspended or revoked on April 2, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 24 hours on first charge; fined $250 on second charge.

John W. Wagg, 34, Bowdoin, operating after registration suspended on Feb. 3, found guilty, fined $100.

Pamela E. Washington, 58, Rumford, school bus failing to activate flashers on Nov. 16, dismissed.

Robert Watier, 50, Lewiston, disorderly conduct and violating a protective order on April 11 and violating condition of release on April 12, found guilty on first and second charges, sentenced to 48 hours for each charge; third charge dismissed.

Deanna D. Watkins, 19, Turner, operating after registration suspended on Feb. 11, found guilty, fined $100.

Donald G. Webster, 52, Greene, disorderly conduct on Feb. 5 and violating condition of release on April 11, found guilty on first charge, fined $75; second charge dismissed.

Kevin A. Weeks, 32, Monmouth, operating after registration suspended, operating while license suspended or revoked, and attaching false plates on Feb. 28, found guilty on all charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $250 on second charge; fined $50 on third charge.

Janine Welch, 39, Lewiston, operating under the influence and reckless conduct on Jan. 7, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, sentenced to two days.

Jill Welch, 29, Portland, operating while license suspended or revoked and attaching false plates on Jan. 28, found guilty on both charges, fined $250 on first charge; fined $100 on second charge.

Alan P. Westgate, 28, Norway, operating a vehicle without a license on Feb. 25, found guilty, fined $100.

Michael Whitcomb, 51, Brewer, fugitive from justice on Feb. 27, extradition waived.

Derrick L. White, 42, Greene, disorderly conduct on Feb. 4, found guilty, sentenced to 48 hours.

Ty Albert Whitworth, 31, West Poland, negotiating a worthless instrument on July 22, found guilty, fined $75 and ordered to pay $300 restitution.

William L. Wickham, 23, Lewiston, carrying a concealed weapon on Feb. 20, found guilty, fined $150.

Kristen Wight, 25, Auburn, operating under the influence on Feb. 27, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to 48 hours and license suspended 90 days.

Tammy L. Wilbur, 43, Jay, operating after registration suspended on Jan. 17, found guilty, fined $100.

Arthur H. Williams, 44, Newburg, N.Y., operating a vehicle without a license on March 16, 2002, March 27, 2002 and April 6, 2002, found guilty on all charges, fined $53.57 on first charge; fined $150 for each on second and third charges.

Manny Wing, 25, Poland, two counts of allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor on Jan. 16, found guilty on both charges, fined $250 for each charge.

Andrew F. Wisdom, 23, Oxford, operating after registration suspended on March 9, found guilty, fined $100.

Bobbie Wogomon, 23, Livermore Falls, failure to register a vehicle on March 21, found guilty, fined $75.

Denis E. Wotton, 54, Lewiston, operating under the influence, with one prior, and operating a vehicle without a license on Feb. 11, both charges sent to jury trial.

Karen Wrentzel, 23, Auburn, operating while license suspended or revoked on Feb. 27, dismissed.

Gary Yakawonis, 63, Greene, operating under the influence on Jan. 14, sent to jury trial.

Michelle L. Yonuss, 28, Lewiston, displaying a fictitious vehicle certificate and permitting unlawful use on Feb. 9, found guilty on both charges, fined $75 for each charge.

John D. Zwick, 41, Lisbon, operating under the influence on Feb. 11, found guilty, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days.

Kelly R. Zwick, 39, Lisbon, operating under the influence on Feb. 11, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to 96 hours and license suspended 90 days.
