NORWAY – Debra DeCato, TD Banknorth Oxford Branch manager, recently presented a check for $10,000 to John Cox, senior VP of finance, as part of the pledge of $50,000 toward the Stephens Memorial Healthcare Foundation Capital Campaign for Excellence. Oxford Branch employees were on hand for the presentation and posed for a photo with John Cox.

Stephens Community Healthcare Foundation began the Capital Campaign for Excellence in 2001 to raise money for new emergency services and imaging areas. To date, the campaign has raised over $8.8 million.

The Stephens Community Healthcare Foundation directs the fundraising and philanthropic activities of Western Maine Health, ensuring that local funds, contributed by area donors, remain in the community to support local health care needs.

Whether the need is purchasing state-of-the-art medical equipment, supporting community education initiatives or promoting health programs, the foundation is committed to ensuring a healthy future for the people of Western Maine.
