Alison Elizabeth Tinguely graduated from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa., with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and a minor in business management during commencement on May 13. She received distinguished departmental honors for her research titled “Rumormongering and Remembering: How Contrasting Views of the Truth Affects Children’s Memory.”

While at Ursinus, Tinguely was a member of the Psychology Club, Best Buddys and the Ursinus Dance Company. She studied abroad in Italy with the Ursinus in Florence program. She held an Ursinus Summer Fellowship in 2005 and an internship in human resources at Volt Services Group.

A graduate of Mt. Blue High School, she is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Gerald Tinguely of Farmington.
