NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The L/A Ballers, Maine AAU basketball 13-and-under champions, advanced in the AAU national tournament with a 57-37 victory over the Maryland Stingers.

L/A outscored Maryland 18-2 in the fourth quarter to pull away. The Ballers also enjoyed a 15-12 advantage in the third quarter to snap a 23-23 halftime deadlock.

Mekae Hyde and Jonah Farrington led the Ballers with 12 points each. Tim Mains aded 11.

Bo Leary, Jack Erickson and Alex Chicoine rolled up six points apiece, with Erickson securing 13 rebounds. Josh Walker supplemented his four points with six assists.

Ben Chicoine and Corbin Hyde also made solid contributions off the bench for L/A, which meets Kentucky in the next round.
