AUBURN – A new, state-of-the-art colon hydrotherapy unit has been installed at CALM HealthWorks, a newly opened holistic health practice of C. Andi Locke Mears. Located at the Stevens Mills Professional Building, this unit is FDA registered.

Colon hydrotherapy removes waste from the large intestine without the use of drugs. By introducing filtered, warm water into the colon, the waste is eliminated through natural peristalsis.

CALM HealthWorks is a locally owned business that offers colon hydrotherapy sessions, iridology readings, a full-service botanical apothecary, and educational sessions on holistic nutrition and natural health treatments.

Mears is a certified colon hydrotherapist through the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapists; a master iridologist through the School of Natural Medicine, and a nutrition consultant. She also has a master’s degree from the University of Maine.

Office hours are by appointment only.

The Stevens Mills Professional Building is at 1441 Hotel Road. Phone 207-784-7287 for more information.
