STRONG – The town recently contracted with Robert Stevens of Farmington and Sally Mitchell of Strong to complete the revaluation program. Robert and Sally will visit each property. They will carry a letter of authorization from town officials, and review each structure on the property for the town’s new assessment records. The program will provide Strong with a computerized assessment record system and help to ensure that each property is being taxed fairly. Property owners will receive a letter in May 2007 with their new assessment and will have an opportunity to meet with the representatives before assessments are finalized.
