AUBURN – Brady Blackman belted three hits and had four RBIs to lead New Auburn to a 9-4 victory over Andy Valley in Zone III American Legion baseball action Thursday evening.
Blackman’s highlights included a home run in the first inning and an RBI triple in the bottom of the sixth. Derek Doucette also belted a triple for New Auburn (6-1), while Tyler Snowe added a double. David Lutz also contributed two hits and one RBI in a well-balanced attack. Mike Muise struck out six and had no walks en route to the win.
Relief pitcher Justin Dodge led Andy Valley (2-6) with three hits and one RBI, while Dan Danforth was tagged with the loss.
