PARIS – Karen Montanaro will be the featured performer Friday, July 14, at Celebration Barn Theater. Montanaro became part of the Celebration Barn family in 1989, when she married Celebration Barn founder Tony Montanaro. She was the ghost writer for his book, “Mime Spoken Here,” published in 1995.

Prior to meeting Tony, Karen had been a professional ballet dancer with the Ohio Ballet and the Darmstadt Opera Ballet in Germany. Her work with Tony drew on the discipline and technique of both ballet and mime and originated a third art form, a unique fusion of both mime and dance.

The performance will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and children 12 and under. Reservations are required and may be made by calling (207) 743-8452. Celebration Barn Theater is at 190 Stock Farm Road, just off Route 117 north.
