AUBURN – In a two-pronged restructuring, Temple Shalom Preschool promoted Claudette Turcotte as director of the nursery school program, and hired Ginna Caldwell as assistant teacher.
Turcotte has 24 years of experience. She is a mother of two, and grandmother of four, has had extensive early childhood training and is certified in CPR. She has been using sign language for 25 years and enjoys teaching children their names, numbers, letters and songs, all in sign.
Caldwell, a mother of three, with a continuing studies background in early childhood studies, has also been an active parent volunteer at Montello School in Lewiston for more than seven years. She will also be certified in CPR this summer.
