I make no assumptions about a person’s ignorance. For example, I will not assume that Erin Reed is ignorant of the reality of life (July 17).

My ancestors were, in fact, immigrants, as were the “native” Americans. They did not receive any benefits the second they stepped foot on this land. They, too, were running from hostile, violent environments. They got here, they worked, they provided for their families on their own.

Yes, there are good people who work in the Somali community. I never stated there weren’t.

Don’t tell me I don’t have a right to be frustrated unless you live down here, too.
