LEWISTON – KeyBank has broken ground in Lewiston for the relocation of its local KeyCenter. A groundbreaking ceremony took place on July 17 at its new site at 20 East Ave. Company officials plan to open the branch in the fourth quarter of 2006.

The 3,336-square-foot center will offer a full range of banking services, including one drive-up ATM and after-hours depository, and two drive-up video tellers. The property will also feature 21 regular parking spaces and one handicapped-access space.

Guest speakers at groundbreaking included KeyBank President Steve Woods, KeyBank District Retail Leader Susan Giffard and City Councilor Norm Rousseau. Representatives from the Economic Growth Council and the Greater Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce were in attendance, as was Lincoln Jeffers, director of the Lewiston Economic and Community Development Department.
