DENVER – Mike Cameron hit a two-run triple for San Diego and Chris Young worked five innings to stretch his road unbeaten streak to 19 games.

Khalil Greene hit his 15th homer and Eric Young his third, helping NL West-leading San Diego beat the Rockies after losing two close games at Coors Field to start the four-game series.

Colorado got a rare shaky outing from Jeff Francis (8-9) and hit into two inning-ending double plays to lose for the 11th time in 16 games since the All-Star break.

Young (9-4) gave up one run and seven hits. He hasn’t lost on the road since June 20, 2005, when he lost to the Los Angeles Angels while pitching for the Texas Rangers.

Trevor Hoffman pitched the ninth for his 28th save in 32 chances.
