AUBURN – A Bowdoinham man sustained minor injuries Saturday night when he lost control of his motorcycle on Turner Street in Auburn.
Christopher Beaupre, 22, was unable to stop his motorcycle while pulling a wheelie in the parking lot of LongHorn Steakhouse, according to police. Beaupre rode his motorcycle over a curb and a median before crossing Turner Street, coming to rest in the parking lot of Androscoggin Savings Bank, police said.
He was not wearing a helmet. Beaupre received a summons for his ride.
“There is actually a specific violation for pulling a wheelie,” Lt. Tim Cougle of the Auburn police said.
