AUBURN – John “Scott” Peters, 45, a resident of 140 Seventh St. died suddenly Friday, July 28, at his residence.
He was born in Portsmouth, N.H., July 1, 1961, the son of Wilbur and Margaret (McGrath) Peters.
He was a 1979 graduate of Edward Little High School, and then attended the University of Maine. He had been employed as a machine operator at Geiger Bros in Lewiston. He was an avid history buff and enjoyed his family.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret of Auburn; one son, Ethan of Durham; one brother, James Michael Peters of Auburn; and many cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Wilbur Peters in 2005.
