LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club will hear a presentation by Lori Metayer, program coordinator/base manager of LifeFlight of Maine, at noon Thursday, Aug. 3, at the Ramada Inn.

A resident of Lisbon Falls, Metayer is a graduate of the Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing and the University of Southern Maine. CMMC’s Emergency Nurse of the Year in 1998, Metayer has been involved with LifeFlight of Maine since its inception and is a recognized expert in her field.

LifeFlight of Maine is a nonprofit statewide critical care medical helicopter service that is jointly operated by Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems in Bangor and the Central Maine Medical Family in Lewiston. LifeFlight’s two helicopters cover the state and offshore islands.
