NORWAY – Norway Memorial Library’s third and final First Friday of the summer will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4. The exhibit will conclude the library’s summer focus on works by Professor Lajos Matolcsy and his students.

Ellie Viles and Marion Stewart are being featured during August. The works shown are a collection of paintings by Viles and Stewart, including portraits, landscapes and still lifes, as well as weavings by Marion Stewart. All items have been loaned for the exhibit from the families of the artists and other collectors of their works.

The public is invited to attend and reminded that the works can be viewed any time the library is open.

There are First Friday openings planned at other locations in Norway and South Paris, including McLaughlin Garden, the Painted Mermaid Gallery and the Commons at Fare Share Market. Hours may vary between sites.
