FARMINGTON – The Fairbanks Union Church will host a potluck supper and presentation by the Rev. Jeff Boyd, a Presbyterian missionary serving in Central Africa, at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4.

Boyd serves the Presbyterian Church, USA, as Central Africa liaison, working in Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda. He is based in Cameroon.

Boyd works with partner churches in the Central African nations and provides support to mission personnel serving in the region. He is also a resource for congregations engaged in supporting mission work in this region.

His wife, Christi, is companionship facilitator for the Presbyterian Joining Hands Against Hunger Program in Cameroon. They have three children, Matthias, Salome and Naomi.

The potluck supper will be at 6 p.m. and the talk by the Boyd family at 7. For more information, call the Rev. Scott Planting at 778-4654.
