BETHEL – The Telstar High School Class of ’81 will hold its 25th reunion on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 12 and 13. The weekend will kick off at the annual alumni barbecue at 11 a.m. at the high school, sponsored by the alumni. The barbecue is for all Telstar alumni.

The Class of ’81 will have the 25th reunion dinner at Rooster’s Roadhouse, Route 2. A social hour will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., with music and dinner starting around 7. Classmate Jock Morton’s brother, Peter Morton, will provide live music.

A family picnic will be held at noon Sunday at the Norway Lake Red Schoolhouse. Classmates and families are asked to take a picnic or something to cook on the grill. There will be volleyball, basketball and nature walks to the three beaches, as well as a playground for the young ones.
