Kudos to your editorial Aug. 2 regarding breast-feeding. It is what Mother Nature intended us to do. But not until people get over that breasts are sex objects will they finally begin accepting them for what they were originally intended for.

It’s too bad that many in this country are so hung up on what really is a beautiful thing. I love seeing a mother breast-feed her baby. It is an experience that every mother should have, and the most intense bonding experience happens at that moment.

People need to get their priorities straight. Death of a baby versus nursing a live baby. I would much rather see a mother nursing her infant than seeing the picture of a dead child.

Just as the editorial asked, “What’s wrong with this picture?” Where are their priorities?
