RICHMOND, N.H. (AP) – New Hampshire Fish and Game officers are investigating an ATV accident that seriously hurt a Massachusetts woman.

Authorities said Rachel Way, 22, of Walpole was riding at 11:30 p.m. Sunday on Taylor Hill Road when she failed to make a corner and rolled her four-wheeler.

Authorities said she was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover with serious injuries.

Fish and Game Major Tim Acerno said Way was with a group of four ATV riders reportedly riding illegally on a public way. Acerno said the accident is under investigation.
