Dear Sun Spots: Would anyone please be able to help me?

I need someone to volunteer their time to put together a Bowflex Extreme for someone who’s not physically able to do so. This person is losing weight and needs to work on excess skin and toning muscle growth. Anyone who’s able to put it together and would like to help someone in their time of need, please call 743-6864. Thank you. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: The Dixfield Legion Auxiliary will hold a new and used flea market inside the legion hall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 20. This is part of the Dixfield Main Street Outdoor Market and will help raise money so we can keep donating to all our veterans and charities. If anyone has any good, new or used items to donate, or would like to bake something for our sale, please contact Doris Martineau 562-8236 or Carol Gallant in Mexico at 364-4798.

The outdoor market will also include a pancake breakfast put on by The Historical Society from 7 to 9 a.m. In addition, the Legion SAL will hold a quarter bingo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All events are inside the Legion hall. Come see us! – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: I’m desperate!

I have been to just about every bank in the two cities to find the Colorado quarters. I’m told that they never received them. Yet back on June 5 it came out in your paper that they were coming out.

Can you please help me. I have all the others. It’s almost time for the next one, North Dakota. Thank you. – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
In addition to responses from readers, you can order these through the U.S. Mint. As noted in the July 5 column, contact the U.S. Mint to order your collection at www.usmint.gov. If you’d like to ensure you get these coins upon release, you can subscribe online at the U.S. Mint Web site. Please note your credit card information and address will need to be current.

In addition, Sun Spots got two Colorado quarters as her toll change at a tool booth last week and would encourage you to keep an eye out on your grocery and other store change.

Dear Sun Spots: Thank you! You’ve given me a purpose to make someone happy. To Lucille G., No Town: I sent a note to your mother and plan to do so two or three times a week. I know what it’s like not to get mail. I’d like to hear from you also, what her interests were before she became ill. I’ll send pictures sometimes, also. I can be reached at N. Stone, P.O. Box 104, West Paris, ME 04289.

Dear Sun Spots: If anyone is interested in a set of encyclopedias, I have some in good condition. I also have a set of 12 yearbooks. I will give them to anyone interested. I may be reached at 375-4120. – No Name, Sabattus.
