POLAND – The wedding of Karen Patricia Cox and Eric Scott Paquette was held at 2 p.m. on June 24 at All Souls Chapel in Poland. Pastor Richard Cullen officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Paquette is the daughter of William and Margaret Cox of Auburn. Mr. Paquette is the son of Phillip and Patsy Paquette of Lewiston.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Nancy Fournier was honor attendant for her friend, and bridesmaids were Ashley Palmer, Jennifer Cote and Marge Latuscha, friends.

Darren Leighton served as best man for his friend, and ushers were David Cox, brother of the bride, Jeff Paquette, brother of the bridegroom, and Kevin Simoneau and Spencer Simoneau, friends. Benton Hayes and Parker Simoneau, friends, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at Spring Meadows in Gray, after which the couple traveled to Sandals Resort in St. Lucia.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 1999 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree. She is also a 2005 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a master’s degree. She is employed as a literacy specialist with SAD 17.

The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 1997 graduate of Andover College. He is an officer with the Maine State Police.
