WILMINGTON, Vt. (AP) – A Pownal man was killed after being electrocuted in a construction accident.
Stacy James Sousis, 35, was working at Mountain Ponds Condos Friday morning when a metal ladder he was carrying got caught in an electrical wire, police said.
Sousis was taken to the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington where he was pronounced dead.
Police are investigating the accident. Windham County State’s Attorney Dan Davis has requested that an autopsy be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
