SOUTH PORTLAND – Kevin B. Connolly has joined TD Banknorth Insurance Agency Inc. in South Portland as a vice president in the commercial lines department. He will serve as a commercial lines producer responsible for new business development and for servicing existing business clients throughout northern New England.

Connolly has 10 years of insurance industry experience. Before joining TD Banknorth Insurance Agency, he served for nearly two years as a vice president and financial analyst in the finance department at TD Banknorth, N.A., the banking subsidiary of TD Banknorth Inc. Connolly also has served as a financial consultant in the underwriting division at UnumProvident Corp.

A Portland resident, Connolly volunteers with local nonprofit organizations through his involvement with the Institute for Civic Leadership/The Board Network. He was recently inaugurated into Sigma Beta Delta for academic accomplishments while attaining his master’s degree in business administration from Husson College in 2004. Connolly received an undergraduate business degree in 1996 from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada. He is a 1992 graduate of Cheverus High School.
