Dear Sun Spots: Thank you for Sun Spots.

I have a need, as I have almost finished a sweater, but have run out of yarn. I got it at Wal-Mart, but they do not have it anymore. I wondered if any of your readers would have any and would be willing to assist me with this. It is Red Heart, Worsted Medium, color is 0657, Dusty Teal, 8 25 53 (I believe the last number is a 3. It’s hard to make out). I can be reached at 786-0774. Please leave a message on my answering machine if I don’t answer. Thank you for your help. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: For the person looking for an older-style square playpen: I have one. Please call me at 784-3286 and leave a message if I am not home.

Dear Sun Spots: This is in response to a recent inquiry about dance lessons. Zumba Fitness in Auburn offers classes also. It’s aerobic, combining dance and exercise using Latin and other exotic music. Classes are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and are at the Yoga Center on Center Street. Please call Cynthia Nicholas via cell phone at 344-3638 or 784-1017. – R.M.E., No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: In response to an inquiry about dance lessons: In addition to what appeared in the Aug. 29 column, perhaps readers may want to try square dancing?

Square dancing is for everyone and no experience is needed. It’s a great way to relax and have fun as well as meet people and make new friends. The Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club wants to introduce this activity to everyone in the area that might be looking for recreation during the long cold winter months. Try it out Wednesday. Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Oxford Hills Middle School, Pine Street, South Paris. Free admission to first-time dancers. John Thompson, the club caller, will get you dancing before the evening is over. The classes are held every Wednesday as part of the Oxford Hills Adult Education and Recreation Program.

For more information, please call Sue Corning, South Paris, at 743-7176 or Eleanor Herrick, Auburn, at 782-4050. – Esther Tucker, Poland.
