HUDSON, N.H. (AP) – An intruder shot a man during a home invasion Sunday night, police said.

The victim was asleep in his apartment when the intruder approached shortly after 11 p.m., police said. They struggled and the resident was shot in the arm, according to police.

The resident was reported in stable condition. Police said they do not believe it was a random attack. On Monday, authorities tracked a car related to the shooting to a home in Derry. They arrested one man who scuffled with police and took a woman into custody, but say the suspected shooter got away.
