BIDDEFORD – Freshman Taryn Flagg of Livermore Falls scored on a penalty stroke to lead the University of New England to a 2-0 victory over St. Joseph’s.

It’s the third time in the four-year history of the program that the Nor’easters have started the season 2-0.

STANDISH – Harrison Deah scored a pair of goals, including one on a penalty kick, to lift St. Joseph’s to a 5-0 decision over Thomas.

David Rosquette of Auburn assisted on the Monks first goal by Doug MacCallum. Payton Austin of Lisbon had a team-high four shots for Thomas.
