LIVERMORE FALLS – Khyle Whittemore netted a pair of second-half goals to lift Livermore Falls to a 2-1 victory over Mountain Valley.

Kent Jackman and Rett Neal both contributed for the Andies (1-1) with assists, helping to record the team’s first victory in four years. Markus Ryder made five saves in net to notch the win.

The Falcons (0-3) averted the shutout when Chris Bolduc scored in the first half. Bryan Canwell handled netkeeping duties, turning aside 23 shots.

Telstar 2, Georges Valley 1

BETHEL – Max Meader took a feed from Mike Fleet and booted a shot into the left-corner of the net from 12 yards out to lift Telstar to a 2-1 victory over Georges Valley in MVC boys’ soccer action Thursday.

Frankie Delduca also tallied for the Rebels (3-0). Kevin Gallagher made five saves in net to notch the win.

Chris Eustis scored for rhe Buccaneers’ (2-1). Larry Platt turned away four shots.

Monmouth 1, Jay 0

MONMOUTH – Nate Armstrong scored the game’s lone goal to lift Monmouth to a 1-0 triumph over Jay in MVC boys’ soccer action Thursday.

The Mustangs (1-2) scored with 9:12 remaining in the first half when Devin Robbins served up a corner kick that Armstrong redirected into the back of the net.

The Monmouth defense put in a great defensive effort as goalie Dylan Reny made 14 saves, while Joe Gagnon repelled 11 shots for the Tigers.

Mt. Abram 3, Lisbon 0

SALEM – Chris Smith assisted on Sterling Hooke’s game-winner in the first half and added a goal of his own in the second as Mt. Abram blanked Lisbon 3-0.

Jason Parrett rounded out the scoring for the Roadrunners (3-0), one-timing a long throw-in from Ronal Cabe.

Wyatt Johnson turned aside five shots for the shutout.

Mike Call made 10 saves for the Greyhounds (0-2).
