LISBON – Fernand and Violet Barriault of Lisbon recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, with a gathering at Rolandeau’s Restaurant in Auburn. The event was planned by their two sons, Dennis and Ronald Barriault.
The couple received an official presentation of sentiment from the 122nd Legislature upon the celebration of their 60th anniversary.
Mr. Barriault and the former Violet Nadeau were married on June 22, 1946, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Lewiston.
The couple has three children, Ronald, Dennis and Louise and their grandchildren are Michael, Renee, Andrea, Amy and Audrey Barriault.
Mr. Barriault is president of Central Distributors Inc.
