AUBURN – James and Karen Scammon of Auburn are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Andrew William Scammon and future daughter-in-law, Katelyn Ruth Giuliano, daughter of Barbara Giuliano of Foxboro, Mass. Mr. Scammon is the grandson of William and Camilla Vassar of Auburn and the late Oscar and Dorothy Scammon of Wales.

The future bridegroom is a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Mass. He is currently employed as a calibration technician at Crosspoint Engineering in Westwood, Mass.

The future bride is a graduate of Foxboro High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at Curry College in Milton, Mass. She is currently employed as a paralegal at Borchers Law Group in Medway, Mass.

The couple resides in Mansfield, Mass. They were engaged in May of 2005 while vacationing in Connecticut. They will exchange vows on Dec. 30 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Foxboro, Mass., with a reception to follow at the Saphire Manor and Inn in Sharon, Mass.
