AUBURN – Senior forward Nate Brown scored the game-winning goal with 17 minutes left as St. Dom’s upended Traip 3-2, handing the Rangers their first loss of the season.

Andrew Allen and Matt Barlion scored a goal each to put the Saints (2-1-2) up 2-0 in the early going.

Tyler Metevier cut the deficit in half before the break for the Rangers (4-1), and evened up the contest on a feed from Jack Masury at the 38:00 mark of the second half.

Goalie Austin Fuller turned back 12 for St. Dom’s.

Oak Hill 4, Belfast 2

WALES – Tom Edgecomb sparked a three-goal outburst in a four-minute span of the second half to snap a deadlock and send Oak Hill to a 4-2 triumph over Belfast.

After Edgecomb broke a 1-1 score with 26 minutes left in the game, John Perron and Davy Hanlon followed with goals over the next four minutes. Ethan Guerrette scored the other goal for Oak Hill (1-3-1) when he curled the ball around the post off a corner kick.

The Raiders outshot the Lions, 16-10. Kory Vanek made eight saves for Oak Hill.

Mt. Blue 5, Skowhegan 0

FARMINGTON – Alex Prentiss set up three goals off dead ball kicks as Mt. Blue ran past Skowhegan 5-0.

Prentiss got the ball to Ben Russell on a corner kick for a score and served up Kevin Ferriera and Tyler Morse off direct kicks for two more goals. Russell also had an assist in the game, and James Brann added another goal to round out the scoring for the Cougars (4-1).

Devin Zamboni made one save for the shutout, as Mt. Blue outshot the Indians 20-1.

Mt. Ararat 6, Lewiston 0

TOPSHAM – Andrew Pelletier recorded a pair of goals as Mt. Ararat overwhelmed Lewiston with a 6-0 victory.

The Eagles (5-0) overpowered the Blue Devils (3-2) in the first half, scoring four unanswered goals before the break.

Justin Simpson, Andrew Snider, Bobby Van Note and Ethan Thibeault all scored.

Goalie Tobias Farnsworth stopped seven in net for Lewiston, while Mt. Ararat’s Brian Bousquet-Smith turned away one before being relieved by Alex Dolan due to an injury.

Dolan also turned aside one shot in the contest.

Lake Region 3, Yarmouth 2

NAPLES – Tavish Leland chipped the ball over the goalkeeper on a breakaway late in the second half as Lake Region defeated defending state champion Yarmouth 3-2 in boys’ soccer. Todd Shigo and Jordan Nichols also scored for the Lakers (2-3), and Alex Toews added an assist.

Freshman goalie Matt Langadas stopped nine shots for Lake Region.
