LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday for Lorette C. Levasseur at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul with the Rev. Robert Lariviere celebrating the Mass and reciting committal prayers at the entombment at St. Peter’s Chapel Mausoleum. Words of Remembrance were expressed by Lorette’s grandson, Peter Dumont and Lorette’s son-in-law, James Collins. Also in attendance at Mass were Lorette’s longtime clientele from her beauty salon. The pallbearers were Christopher Collins, Adam Collins, Rodney Landry, Richard Rioux, Peter Dumont and Ray Lagueux. Following committal prayers, a reception of fellowship was held at the Korn Haus Keller in Lewiston. Arrangements by the family-owned Pinette Funeral Chapel, Lewiston.
