Kiwanis supports Trinity Jubilee Center

LEWISTON – The Jubilee Center of the Trinity Episcopal Church is a source of help for many Lewiston and Auburn residents who are homeless and hungry. Located at 247 Bates St., the church and volunteer staff provide meals for community residents four times a week.

Diapers and formula are also available. Coffee and light snacks are available every day. Other services include prison visits, assistance in negotiating access to other services in the area and assistance in transitioning back into the community.

The mission of the Auburn Lewiston Kiwanis Club is to support community services that promote health and well being, particularly for youth and young adults. The club recently contributed funds to the Jubilee Center to support its services to young people.

The Kiwanis supports youth leadership through two high school Key Clubs, college scholarships, museum passes available at both libraries of the Twin Cities and reading books for the Longley School.
