Dear Sun Spots: I would like to respond to the lady who wrote about an iron-on transfer that no longer works. If she would like to rejuvenate that transfer or make a transfer out of any line drawing, she needs to purchase an inexpensive “transfer pencil.” They are made for making your own iron-on transfers. A special red lead in the pencil can be drawn over the lines of the old transfer, which will allow it to be reused up to two or three times each reapplication. These pencils are available in many craft stores. We have them at Log Cabin Craftworks in Dixfield, 562-8816. – Norine Clarke, Dixfield.
