PARIS – Market Square Health Care Center celebrated National Assisted Living Week on Sept. 10 to 16 with a theme of “Hearts of Harmony.”

Cheryl Landry, director of residential care at the facility, was the master of ceremonies for the week and planned events.

Activities included heart healthy walks, wedding day when staff and residents were encouraged to share wedding photos and stories, pajama day and heart day with carnival activities, including balloons and face painting.

Administrator Phillip Dubois said, “This celebration recognizes both our staff for investing their hearts into the lives of our residents, and our residents, for the unique contributions they each have made to society and to the home-like atmosphere of Market Square.”

The celebration was coordinated to honor staff and volunteers who work in assisted living communities and to celebrate the individuals and families who utilize the services.
