Dear Sun Spots: Sun Spots has been very generous to the Classy Lady store in the past by printing our requests for needed items. We are now hoping for some additional help to improve our program mentoring women entering or re-entering the work force, or bettering their current job position.

If any readers who are upgrading their computers are looking for a tax deductible outlet for their old tower, please consider giving it to Classy Lady. The store computer is very old and slow. It freezes frequently and cannot run some of the programs that are necessary for us to offer.

Your donation would be so greatly appreciated. We do not have a budget to purchase items such as computers, yet rely on them to offer a competitive variety of mentoring topics.

We would also like to announce that we are now accepting credit cards for purchases. Up to now, we have accepted cash and checks only.

And, we are changing our location. More on our new location to come to you and column readers. In the meantime, the current store at 165 Lisbon St. in Lewiston will remain open until Sept. 30. On that day, we will have a big Blow Out Sale in preparation for the move. Our staff would be glad to show you our extensive collection of gently-used professional wear and accessories.

Store hours are Wednesday 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Thursday 1:30 to 6:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

We would like to thank the community for all the support shown us. We would not be successful without the hours of volunteer help and the donations of goods and services so generously given. Thank you all so much for your support. – Lynn Berube, board secretary, Classy Lady, No Town.
