AUBURN – When Lost Valley Ski Resort hosts a charity auction to benefit Central Maine Adaptive Sports and the Auburn Ski Association Saturday evening, among those lending support will be Central Maine Orthopaedics, PA.

The event on Saturday, Sept. 30, will include a silent auction from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with a live auction at 7:30. Admission is $10 a person. A limited number of tickets (60) will be sold at $50/pair for those wishing a chance to win a $1,000 prize.

When a member of the Central Maine Adaptive Sports board of directors was at the orthopaedic practice a few years ago, she mentioned her involvement with the program at Lost Valley.

Within a day or two, Dr. Wayne Moody called to ask how Central Maine Orthopaedics could help. Since then, the practice has contributed financial support.
