Dea
r Sun Spots: I would refer the St. Martin de Porres homeless residence to take a look at the Autom Religious Supplies catalogue. They sell some items cheaply enough they could be marked up 100 percent and still be a bargain. They can be found at www.automonline.com, or via mail at Autom Catalog, 3602 W. Washington Suite 2, Phoenix, AZ 85009, 1-800-521-2914. – Father Daniel Beegan, St. Brendan’s Catholic Charismatic Chapel, Rumford.

Dea

Dear Sun Spots: I am looking for someone to come to my house with a log splitter and split what I have. For a fee, of course. Thank you. Please contact Bob at 375-6165. – Bob, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: My brother-in-law lost his wife recently (my sister) and he has been left with five Singer knitting machines. Three are new and two have been used, also has two stands for them, accessories and yarn. Does anyone know of a place that would buy these back or of anyone interested in purchasing them? Someone would definitely get a good deal. I can be reached at 933-6286. – Alice, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: This letter is in response to the request from Hilda T. appearing in your Sept. 12 column: At Craft-Mania, we carry a large selection of embroidery transfers. We also carry the iron-on transfer pencil to refresh her old pattern. If she has other pictures she would like to embroider we have a transfer paper, including the paper to run through a copy machine or computer printer. Craft-Mania is located in the Auburn Plaza at 730 Center St. in Auburn, phone 783-8265. – No Name, Auburn.

Dear Sun Spots: I am writing about a trunk and tailgate sale being held at the High Street Congregational in Auburn on Saturday, Oct. 7. We are renting spaces for $10. These proceeds will go to the church. Any one who has items to sell can rent a space. We do have tables available to use. It will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church parking lot. If any questions, please contact: Connie Ray 782-2835; Melissa Brown 753-0751; June Scales 782-7991 or Peter Silvers 783-6136. Again this is open to the public. You can also donate items to be sold at the church table. – Peter Silvers, Lewiston.
