Mountain Valley rolled past Dirigo 48-6 last week to create a 3-way tie for the top spot in the Western Maine Youth Football League (Grades 7-8).

Mountain Valley, Lewiston and Gardiner were all 3-0 entering this week’s action. Gardiner will go to 4-0 with its forfeit win over Buckfield-Hartford-Sumner. The latter team folded before the season started.

There will be one less unbeaten team after Saturday’s play as Mountain Valley travels to Lewiston for an 11:30 a.m. contest against the Lewiston Demons at LAP.
