Sen. Peggy Rotundo has given our community and our state the amazing gift of her time and energy for a number of years, first as Lewiston’s state representative and then state senator. She now serves our region as chairman of the Legislature’s appropriation committee, giving L-A the recognition we deserve as a developing economic engine for Maine.
Each year she serves, she fights for public education, both presecondary and postsecondary. Her work has resulted in the continued expansion of L-A College – there is another addition under way, thanks to Peggy – which means more opportunities for L-A residents to join the ranks of the college-educated workforce. Sen. Rotundo’s unceasing work for the common people of Maine should be rewarded both with sincere thanks and support for her last term.
With all my conviction, I join many, many others to say, “Thank you, Peggy Rotundo.”
